Droid X - all text messages deleted

I accidentally deleted allof my text messages and need to retrieve one of them back. Nothing is on the Micro SD that I found inside of the phone (only pictures). There is no SIM card. I even tried to connect trough PC and see if I could find it there. I just got this phone last week and am have been experimenting with it; thus, pushing the wrong thing at times {';'} I am going to assume that the message is forever gone... unless, someone out there can give me a glimpse of hope. I have turned off texting so nothing overwrites.
