Droid Shuts Off When Listening to Music

Hey there. My droud goes to sleep after about 10 minutes of listening to music. Does anyone know how to stop this?

Play music that doesn't put it to sleep?

goes to sleep as in the screen turns off? The droid doesnt really have a "sleep mode" like computers do (ex. shuts everything down and only gives minimal power to devices that need it like the processor and RAM) the droid's "sleep mode" is simply turning the screen off and if youre rooted: underclocking the processor, which may actually happen if youre stock too idk.

Do you have a task killer downloaded - if so, add your music player to the exclude list....

Yeah, describe "sleep" for us. Does the whole phone shut off and you need to boot it back up? Is it just the screen going off? Does the screen go off AND music stops playing? What exactly is going on?

Good call. It was my task killer ending the music after 5 minutes. Once I "ignored" my music player, it stopped doing it.
