Droid Redraw

Right now im currently running chevys ss 4.7 rom and my phone keeps redrawing. Is this due to the rom or is this just how 2.2 is built? Does anyone else have problems like this?

Redraw is due to a low memory problem. Not experienced with roms so dont know what ya can do to fix.

I'm having screen redraws more and more now, sometimes it stays blank until I try to swap screens, I'm on bb .4, I'm wonderinf if its cuz of wodgets on screen...

That would be a part of it.

ADW.Launcher with the system persistent box checked (in the ADW Settings)... I haven't had a redraw since I did that. You'll lose the ability to go landscape on the launcher, but I think it's worth the no redraws.

I had the issue with cyanogenmod on my droid with LauncherPro, it happened more and more as time went on. Happened with chevy's rom too.

It's simply a low memory issue, however it seems to be amplified with froyo.
