Droid Reboot/Freeze problem

Last night I attempted to install the update for my droid that kept popping up on my screen. When i woke up it would reboot do the droid logo, red eye, freeze then repeat. I pulled to battery a few times, and it didn't work so I started the recovery and did a factory wipe. Now it reboots and goes to the emergency call/welcome to droid, touch here to begin screen. Once i try to touch here it freezes and reboots, what can i do?

By chance were you rooted with easy root ?

If not I would take it to VZW and let them fix it, not everyone is having the best experience with the OTA so you are not alone

i didn't root it or anything like that.

i tried the tap on the sides thing but it reboots whenever i touch it

Take it to Verizon then, they will probably flash a clean version of 2.2 and if your issues persist they will replace your device with a Droid Refurb or (possibly) a D2 or Dinc
