Biggest reasons for a removable battery would be:
-When rooting or loading customs roms/switching roms or utilizing an apk from outside the market sometimes the phone is completely unresponsive, no combination of button holding will fix & a battery pull is the only resort.
-I haven't seen a non-rooted 4G device yet that doesn't eat battery life like Halloween candy, the bloat ware & double wear take it's toll on a 4G device (or any device for that matter)
With that said someone did make a good point that tablets are being rooted and have had success with combo unlocks when it gaks during modding....either way this will be a hell of a device but not sure why manufacturers keep going "this is too good a device, let's screw it up somehow-non removable battery or poor screen or no support or no sd card expansion or just ugly (droid charge lol that device is UGLY)
