Droid Pro won't sync contacts to gmail

My droid pro won't synch the contacts to Gmail. The only contacts that do sync are the ones I manually entered after I got the phone. The contacts that transferred (from my blackberry via backup assistant) won't sync. Because of this mybackuppro can't work because it duplicates contacts and runs out of space - they said it would clear up when the contacts sync. All the settings are correct.

I think you may need to do the following:

1. Export your contacts to a CSV file.
2. Log into your Gmail account on your PC/Mac.
3. Open Contacts and Import your contacts via the CSV file.

This will then tie your contacts with your Gmail account.

In gmail in contacts there is a "more" button (gmail/contacts/more.)

Try importing them with gmail. I've never done it myself, give it a try.
