Verizon has been releasing Android phones on a furious pace ever since the introduction of the Motorola Droid. It is often in this world you see a company take a step back and rest on the accomplishments of the past but not Verizon. Not to be outdone by any other carrier or Apple they seemingly have accelerated the pace with which new phones are being released.

So, we've been trying to keep you updated on what's going on with new releases and today brings a big batch of updates. We told you about the Droid Pro pre-sale happening on 11/09/10 earlier today. Now we also need to update you with some more news.

  • The Droid Pro will be priced at $179
  • The Samsung Continuum will be priced at $199
  • The Droid 2 Global Edition will be released on 11/11/10 according to Engadget as well.
Personally I think the Droid Pro deserves the $199 price and would like to see the Sammy just a bit cheaper. Just my 2c. I'm really excited about the HTC Merge though so I'll base my next purchase decision on which physical keyboard seems to be more comfortable to me. What about you? Which phone are you looking forward to most?

People getting excited/disappointed over $20 on a phone that comes with a $30/month data plan, not to mention the cost for some apps....I don't get it.
