Chugging along.
Guys, think of it this way. Those of us on a two year contract will be spared the initial 4G failures, lack of service, and performance issues that are sure to be experienced in the first year of operation. By the time we upgrade, 4G will be up and running just perfectly for us.
I totally agree. It's like buying anything the first day out. Problems, failures, etc.
However, one of my biggest complaints about Verizon (and any other subscription based company - like AT&T, Dish TV etc.) is their lack of 'loyalty' to those of US who have been loyal customers. I've been with Verizon since they were Airtouch. What's that now - 12-14 years? I still have to sign a two year contract every time it's up. When I decided I
had to have my Droid phone, I had four months left on my contract. Now, here I am wanting to spend big bucks on a phone, upgrading my service with more allowed text and picture messages, AND now having to sign up for the additional $30/mo data feed. And what does Verizon do? I get zapped because I'm making changes before the end of my contract. I did an early renewal so I got some sort of 'deal' for that. The phone was $300 but I can get the $100 rebate if I send in the bar code off the box (which I just did). You'd think if I want to spend MORE money with them, and do it EARLY, they might give ME a break, but no.
I realize they're all the same, but that doesn't mean I can't complain about it.
So by the time my
new two year contract is up, I'm sure this now new 4G service will already be old hat, and I'll
then get in on whatever is hot at the time (and then watch
that go south - quickly). Ya gotta love it!
