Droid maxx without GSM ???

I read an article which h says the Motorola razor maxx is without GSM. I don't really get what does it mean by that, anybody please help me. I'm really with the spec of the maxx.

gsm is the radio... So to put it simply... there isn't a version for sprint or AT&T... Verizon only... Because they use cdma

Okay, so can the phone still make a call if I go overseas ? If GSM is only meant for radio than I think I'm okay with it. I don't listen to radio much.

Sorry, the previous response meant the GSM cellular radio, not "Radio" as in AM, FM. etc. This phone will get service in areas of countries where there is CDMA cellular service but the more common service outside the USA is GSM from what I recall.
