I wonder if anyone else has had this issue. I have Windows & and when I plug my phone in through the USB cabke, the phone constintly reboots until I unplug. Whats the deal.

Thanks,

Never heard of that one...

Are you using the micro usb cable that came with the phone or a 3rd party one?

Are you plugging directly into a usb port on the computer or into a usb hub?

Are you using a usb extension cord?

The Droid is well known to be quite particular about it's charging voltage. If the voltage is off then the Droid will do bizzare things, including a boot loop. A powered usb hub could possibly have a "dirty" power supply.

I'd try plugging directly into a port on the computer using a cable I trust (Motorola supplied or a trusted brand) and try multiple ports on the computer. Possible one of your usb ports is going bad. Other than that, I'm clueless.
