Droid 2 USB to PC Question on file structure...

Hi there. I want to transfer a bunch of MP3's and pics to my phone as well as some icons I downloaded that I am going to use for shortcuts to things.

Where do I place everything so I can get to it from my phone?

Music goes...where?

Pics and icons go...where?

Music: Files > Phone files > my_music

Pictures can go Files > Phone files > my_pix, but I don't know how to use custom icons as shortcuts so I don't know if putting them there would be beneficial.

Create a folder called "Music" and a folder called "Pictures" on your SD card if you want...the Droid will find them wherever they are on the card, I believe. Directory names shouldn't matter.

Pics you take w/your camera go under the DCIM/Camera folder....
