Droid 2 Gorilla Glass?

Can't seem to find this anywhere on the interweb...does the Droid 2 come with Gorilla Glass? Just wondering if I can return these screen protectors I bought today.

I don't have a definitive answer, but to be honest, nearly every decent smartphone nowadays has either gorilla glass or a near replica - In the year I've owned my Droid 1, the bezel around the screen has gotten scratched but not the actual screen itself.

Screen Protectors are a waste now.

Mine has all the same nicks and stuff around the bezel but nada on the screen and i've dropped it so many times on the road and stuff, i laugh at people with screen protectors on their droid 1's since i know how durable the screen is.

That's like laughing at ppl for having air bags in there truck.

I had to bring back my original droid when I bought it because the glass was all scratched. Gorilla glass or not, it can still get scratched.

Hahaha. That's pretty funny. I know that it is very scratch resistant, but I still have one on my Droid X because it reduces fingerprints and it's a lot easier to wipe off.

Personally, I can't stand screen protectors. They are rubbery and cheap feeling. And I've tried even the top quality ones. Personally, for a touch screen experience, real glass is the only way to go. My Droid is beat to hell, it seriously looks like I intentionally tried to damage it by throwing it on the concrete, but the glass is still in perfect condition. I'm not saying it can't be scratched, just saying that you have to be very dumb or intentionally try to scratch it. As far as fingerprints go I've found most screen protectors to be WORSE in that department, and more difficult to clean. One wipe on my shirt and my glass is clean as new. A little finger grease on the screen makes it silky smooth, though, so I usually leave a little on dancedroid. That being said, I never try to tell anyone not to get a screen protector. If you don't mind the feel and aesthetics, and prefer the peace of mind, go for it. But you really don't need one, if you'd rather save the money.
