Droid 2 global 3G not working

Hey everyone. My friend has a D2. Her 3g isn't connecting. She can use my phones wireless just fine. Any solutions? I'm hesitant to dial *228 because of the SIM card. Does that matter as it does to the Thunderbolt (SIM as well).

Nevermind! I realized her data roaming was unchecked. Simple fix.
