Droid 2 sdcard/camera issue

My friend has a stock (out of box) droid 2 not a global that has recently decided to act up. When she goes to take a picture it says can not take photos bc of scdard. She tried formatting the sdcard from within phone settings and still no luck.

I'm not fimiliar with the d2. I'm all d1. So I'm hoping some of you d2 guys can help me help her. Maybe its common on the d2 idk...

Lol never mind on that issue I guess she got this one fix as of right now. She has an issue with messaging. When she texts someone and hits the space bar the message closes and has to reopen it to continue the message.
