Why don't they tell us the way it really is. It should read more like: "We are sorry that it took way to long for us to finally be ready to push out a watered down, crappy version of 2.1 that is missing some key features that were rolled out on the N1."
Now I know some of these things are just visual but come on moto they are cool to have!

If you do allow the update on your rooted droid then you will lose root.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but the only thing that this update will do is add the weather and news app, and enable multi-touch in the browser. It will NOT include the new 2.1 launcher... That's the real thing I want... Legit anyways... not the app that's out now.
