droid 1 won't boot

i have wiped sd card,and am TRYING to reset to factory....clockworkmod is NOT letting me boot past the M screen.I wanted to reset cuz i need to send back to verizon...any help?

I'd just do an SBF restore and call it a day. There are a few helpful stickies in the Rescue Squad section.

is that sbf restore the one verizon uses?

I read all this stuff...my head is now hurting,and still no luck at all!

If i send it back to verizon how it is,will they notice i rooted?

yeah its what verizon uses.... go here and follow the instructions for option 5 to go back to stock

I got it with the sbf recovery...tried this on an update.zip,but clockwork was blocking this,or just plain looping and bypassing...anyway,thanks for all the links and help,very much appreciated!
