Download frozen and won't dissapear form notification screen

i was downloading a rom from rombuddy when i got an error saying the server had been interrupted and the download had been stopped. It then got stuck in the process of trying to resume the download and now will not clear form my notification screen, leaving two permanent notification icons on my top satus bar. How do i delete/stop/cancel these?? i have an HTC Thunderbolt.

Kill the app in the applications under your phone settings and go to running services look for I think download manager I had that problem many times
