no 4g within 35 miles from York,Pa.
Verizon Rep told me it will be the end of 2013 before they have their whole network updated to 4g.
I think they should cut the data rate to 20 bucks a month for all its 3g users:mad:

No 4G here in Central Nebraska but it is as close as 125 miles to my east in Lincoln, NE. I'm along I-80 and have been told by VZW rep that we could see it sometime this year since we are right along I-80.

Go to Verizon's website...they have a map of current 4g coverage in US. It is very poor...3g is almost everywhere ....4g is just available in some small spots in each state...imho they really shouldn't be pushing 4g phones at this time...I may replace this RAZR before it ever uses 4g....I would take responsibility for buying a 4g phone in a 3g area but was told at store it would be available well before end of 2011...well no 4g north of Sacramento in CA yet...and we aren't in any current planned expansions either ...might not happen in 2012...not exactly any reason to have a 4g phone unless you are extremely lucky and live or travel in 4g area. Nice to have a powerful current smartphone though.

I had someone tell me that when the iPhone gets 4G capability, the web browser will be much faster than Android on 4G. Is that true?

No.

However, it is likely that the next generation of LTE chips will use less power...
