Do unlock codes work on the croid bionic

Hey everyone on droid forum, i found a site that has unlock codes for the bionic, do they work...? I had it on the verizon network and now, im getting mixed responses about it. Can it be unlocked yes or no...?

I believe it can be unlocked for use on MetroPCS.
