Do myspace and facebook add software really work?

Im thinking about buying a myspace and facebook friend blaster type software for promoting my pages. I tried finding review on this junk and there doesnt seem to be many.

I personally hate this type of stuff but im getting a lot of pressure from the bosses so im thinking if making this investment.....

You guys have any experience with this stuff?

Its a software that logs into your account and then auto sends friends requests and auto mass post messages etc etc. I have never heard of it either until yesterday while searching.

Allthough i dont see how any software can get around all the captcha security that is on everyones pages nowadays.

Sounds more like spam than mass mailing when you put it like that?
