Do Droid 2 Roms work for my d2g?

No they will not work. At least not entirely or even enough to risk it. Fission does have a rom available for the d2g but remember there's still no sbf unless I missed something.

Ya so be carefull. Double d and myself helped out a guy who flashed a d2 rom on his d2g, it worked except for the fact that he was essentially stuck in airplane mode because of the differences between d2 and d2g. Make sure you know what you're doing before flashing anything and always have a backup of stock.

No blur here. I have a d2. Like I said you can look into fission for the d2g for a vanilla rom.

Fission 2.3.1 RC5 is up and working great, there's a thread on here about it but you can also find it on Angdroid's team website:

It's under "Fission" on the navigation bar. Be sure you download the Fission Rom Manager and follow the steps carefully. I haven't had any problems yet personally, but if you don't think it's worth the risk don't do it. As the others said, there's no SBF so proceed with caution.

I have Rom Manager and was wondering if any of those roms are good. I was using it to get CM6 on my old Droid but I don't recognize these roms for D2G

You won't be able to find any D2G roms on Clockworks Rom Manager that I know of. The ones I saw on there were only for the D2...

That I know of Fission is the only one available for global and it pretty much just removes blur and gives you a vanilla experience. I'm pretty sure themes are coming too pretty soon from what I've read. Hopefully that helps.

I try Fission 2.5.7 and Liberty 1.0 with my D2G and I 'm stuk with AIRPLANE MODE ON.
Right now I am waiting tha FuseTeem release the 2.5.7 for the D2G, and now I using my old and always loyal N95.
Beware and do a backup. DON 'T DO LIKE ME.

If some body know how can a go back from the liberty 1.0 to the original soft please let me know.

There is an sbf available for the d2g and you can use that to get back to stock.
