Disappearing Screen Display on RAZR Max HD

How to bring back screen display?
My RAZR Max HD's screen has stopped displaying. Phone's sounds indicate that texts are coming in, but I can't see them...or anything else. Have tried recommended powering on/off tricks -- including having phone connected to power cord during powering tries -- but still no display. Of course battery cannot be removed to conduct a hard-boot.

Have you taken back to Verizon for warranty? You can Hard boot the phone which is similar to removing the battery by holding down the up/down volume and power button all at once.

Did you by chance spill any water on it?

Try wiping and tapping on the light sensor located right next to the ear piece on the left.

On my old phone I accidentally got water on that sensor and it wouldn't let the screen turn on even though everything else working. I just had to tap on it a couple of times and let it dry out fully and it started working again so maybe that's your problem too.
