Dinc root help...

Hey everyone, it's been quite some time since I've posted in these forums. Such friendly members and admin imo the best (and first) forums I've visited since owning my dx. However the htc inc is giving me quite some trouble rooting seeing as how unrevoked isn't working for me and adb are hard to find in google search. My dinc is still on 2.2 and my main reason for wanting to root is the horrible stock battery life. Any help would be greatly appreciated and much thanks in advance
