Desparate Help needed

I wanted to upgrade from Apex to the 595 Deodexed rom recently posted and long story short, my phone got bricked and due to low battery, I can't even charge it up any more to try SBFing the 2.3,32 version from TBH. I really don't want to take it to a VZW store as it's a pain and I don't know what to tell them. I think I'm prolly past my 1 year of ownership, so I need some advice on recharging it. Also I get the error codes in the Bootloader menu when I tried to flash the new SBF (10 times or more). The main problem was that RSD lite could never pick up the phone in "devices". Any ideas?

Cut a usb cable and place the exposed wire on the positive and negative contacts on the battery for a couple minutes. There is a writeup on here somewhere.

I have heard RSD Lite can be finicky, you just have to play with it. Luckily, I haven't had any issues with it.

Get a new battery that's charged from a friend or something.
