Deleting old nandroids in clockwork mod

How do you delete old nandroid backups in clockwork mod? They are taking up too much room on my phone. Sorry if this is a noob question.

use a file manager (such as astro) and go into the CW folder into backups and delete the ones you don't need anymore.

ya they're quite large, coming in at about 700MB each..
