Deactivated Droid Killing Batteries

I got a Galaxy Nexus and later found my Droid dead? So I put in a second fully charged battery and it killed it in short order. I had it turned off!

Ok that's really weird... I have a deactivated Droid 2 and the battery last about 25 hours standby.. I am actually on it now while the Nexus is charging lol, gotta love wifi
