Damn I cracked my Screen on my Moto Droid!!

That totally sucks. My husbands droid died over the weekend (and yes it really did die, all the bottom keys - back, menu, home, search - stopped responding or working). I went to Verizon and they did not have any in the store or in my town so I had to order it. They say it will be here tomorrow, but in the meantime my poor husband has been going through withdrawals and is totally lost without his Droid. I think that is his new mistress!!! hahahahaha

I know EXACTLY how he is feeling. It's been almost a week now for me and the closest thing I get to my Droid is hearing about other people's Droids. Tell him to sign up. It helps. :rofl2:

Well if ya had another droid ya coulda gone to wheres m droid or some other app that lets ya locate/make it make a noise.. did u try calling it?

So I called them to see wats going on, They said the Droid is no longer being produced and they would give Moto Devour or a Eris !!! go into the store... most will have refurbs to exchange for you...

Keep bothering them, talk to supervisor. A few other people on this forum have been told they would get an eris or devour, but after they complained enough, they were given a chance to take an Incredible or wait for a Droid 1.

Isnt the Incredible basically a downgrade? I heard u cant install roms and customize like the Droid??

just because you cant modify it doesn't mean its a downgrade... a stock incredible is defiantly an upgrade over a stock droid and thats how Verizon looks at it.

You can install roms on the incredible. And Droid 1 would be the downgrade in that situation.

Oh I wasnt aware of that coo Ok I just got off the phone with Assurion Supervisor and They are gonna give me the Incredible! Unfortunately its on back order so i have to wait longer Wtf !!!
