Custom Voicemail Greeting?

I currently go through big red, and want to utilize this:

Old Spice Voicemail Message Generator

to make a voicemail greeting.

I haven't been able to find any way to do this (possibly due to the actual greeting being on the verizon servers), other than holding my droid up to some speakers, which makes for terrible sound quality.

It might take some real creativity to figure out, or it could be something simple that i'm overlooking

Well, to be honest, it seems the only way to do this is exactly like you and even the website you linked suggested, hold the phone up to the speakers while recording it as it plays...

Not the best solution, but maybe the only solution at this time...

Well I've been toying with the idea of running an aux out to a mic jack on my pc, and skyping my vm and then playing it through that way. Its completely theoretical, and I have no idea if it will work. Does anyone have any idea, before I go and buy skype minutes?
