Cracked Screen Two Months Ago, now having headphone jack problems.

So i dropped my phone and it fell pretty severly and of course the screen cracked a bit. This was in late May I think, early June and nothing was wrong with the phone at the time aside from asthetically. Now my headphone jack is not working. Headphones can go in but not fully, and when i plug them in at all I get sound, but always lacking a part of the song, as well as having the voice command menu open up and offering me an emergency call. Are dropping the phone and the headphone jack issue related? Is there anything I can do about the headphone jack problem? Im planning on replacing the cracked screen at some point in the near future so I may as well kill two bird with one stone at the time.
