how do you set the contacts so they are by company rather then first name?

You should be able to do that by bringing up the soft menu inside contacts, then choosing sort order.

I don't think you can do that. But what you can do is create groups by company and put them in a group.

Could you provide the detailed steps to this? I'm not quite sure what you're saying about the soft menu in contacts. Would that be within individual contacts or just under contacts. I looked under contacts and couldn't see anything.
