Considering buying a droid but....

I am concerned about what seems to be a lack of ability with the droid re business. Things as simple as being able to create my own categories to put contacts in and being able to create a reoccurring instance in a calendar that has a end date...I can create an instance that repeats every day or week or whatever but it goes on indefinitely....can't put an end date in. The blackberry seems to be less phone but better for business purposes. Any business users out there using the droid? Help!

You can put an end date in, but you probably have to be online at http://calendar.google.com to do so. I know its possible there, have not tested it in the app on the phone. I'd guess the same with the contacts (http://www.google.com/contacts is the URL for that). Both would synchronize down to the phone, though with the contacts, I'd advise going into the contact app > menu > display options and make sure your new folders are enabled. Give it a couple of minutes after creating them on the web before you attempt to change them on the phone, to allow the sync to occur.

No, the BlackBerry is still the best phone for business. Android targeted the average user, not businesses.

"Business" is a pretty vague term. Depend on the specific business needs, either device could potentially fit the bill.
