I am unable to connect a Droid 3 phone to my wifi network. I have Motorola surfboard SBG6580 router.

My droid 3 connects without any issues however, my wife has the very same droid 3 phone and when I try connecting her phone, it just keeps cycling back and forth between "connecting" and "disconnecting" but the phone never connects to the network!

I've entered the password over and over again! Tried resetting the phone by taking the battery out ... Nothing seems to work!

Can someone please help me with this issue?

Thank you!

What security are you using? WEP? WPA2 [AES or TKIP]?

Sorry I don't know anything about your question. But if you mean your thread I already moved it for you, moving threads is something a moderator would have to do for you.

I assume you do not have Mac addressing enabled on your router?

Yes, you were correct! I had not enabled the MAC address (thank you) ... However, after receiving your tip, I did enable the MAC address and I still get the same results. The phone cycles ... "Scanning, Connecting, Disconnected ... " and if will not connect to the network! :crying:
Any other idea???
