Configuring email for Goddaddy hosted email

Configuring email for Goddaddy hosted email doesn't seem to be working. I have my own domain and email account. I follow all the settings provided by Goddady, the incoming part seems to work but the outgoing part tries to connect and then report "Failed to connect to service" (or something like that).

Anyone else having this problem or have Godaddy working ?

I have godaddy, but I have my yahoo check their pop3 email and use droid to check yahoo

I have this same problem with Verizon email.. I can get the incoming mail but the outgoing mail gives me a connection error.. I was on the phone with verizon and motorola and they don't understand what is going on either.

There are some key points to make sure you cover. Is it POP or IMAP? Is it using SSL? Does outgoing require login?

I configured 2 of my IMAP accounts, and they worked fine. The first time I tried to set them up, I missed a couple steps, and the questions above would have helped me find the problem.
