Clearing app search history

I have a history eraser app but for some reason it does not clear my search history for twitter, youtube, etc. What can I do to erase app search history

If you open you tube and hit menu, it gives you the option to clear search history. Don't know about twitter, I don't use it.

Menu>Settings>Manage Applications>Select App, then clear cache and data. This will erase bookmarks and all that as well. If you just want to clear history on the apps that will allow that hit menu while running the app, then go into the settings/options and there will be a choice to erase history, at least on youtube and most browsers; don't know about twitter.

How do I clear search history for such app says YouTube, Twitter etc. I don't think " manage application settings" clearing the browser's cache helps

Try clearing the cache for the app itself in manage applications.
