How much did you pay for em? Wall or car? I bought 3 car chargers, moto rapid charge, retail of $30 for $7 each shipping included, off amazon. $21 for 3 chargers that retail for $90.

cheapdroids.com is a fraud?

Update on my case order from CheapDroids.com. I contacted them two days after they told me it would ship and they replied promptly saying they still have not got it in. I asked them in a reply to cancel that part of my order and within 5 minutes I had a confirmation of a refund. I went right to Amazon and ordered the same case and it shipped the same afternoon. Go Amazon.

I just order everything from Amazon. Saves me a lot of headaches. With my Prime membership I get free 2 day shipping on things shipped or fulfilled by Amazon. For example, my excellent Seidio accessories.

You my friend and cheapdroid are a fraud. I just got off the phone about an order I placed with you on 5/18/10. As previously stated here that is EXACTY what you did. There was NOT any indication that the product I ordered was on back order. I waited and waited ( making a couple of calls in between and the date for this so called back order kept changing) for a delivery date. FINALLY on 6/22/10 when I called I was told you had no idea when it would be available for shipment and I was offered to purchase something else instead. I explained I did not want anything else other than what I ordered. not having a choice at this point cause you could not give me a date that I would get it was to cancel. NOW to boot, you charge me a BANK FEE!!!!!! for something YOU CAN NOT DELIVER ON? you have to be kidding me.
I just called today inquiring about this banking fee on a item you can't deliver and was told you always post the expected dates if there are delays.
Having been told this (being not to bright) I told your rep Mary ok I placed an order today and inquired if it was indeed instock seeing as you say you always post expected dates on your web site and as stated there was no indication that this was on back order.. what a surprise when she told me it was on back order but was expected in this week. so in this case you remove any such info from the web site.. DOUBLE TALK bunch of garbage.
Guys stay away from this place. and if you have had any dealings with them report them to the BBB.
Can you imagine I have a pay a banking fee cause they can not deliver on a product they promise.. what a joke
Did they charge you a bank fee? this may sound petty.. this I know but why should we have to pay a cent for something they promise but can not deliver?
More Cheap Droid Issues

I hope the CheapDroids marketing guy is paying attention here as I have also had some bad experience with this company.
1.) When I ordered there was no indication of anything being on back order. I was told today that some of the things were not in stock and on back order. I went back and added everything to the cart again and no indication of anything being on back order even though I was told one of my items wont ship for a while due to it not being in stock.
2.) I never received an order confirmation. I ordered, waited, no confirmation, assumed it didn't go through. I checked my credit card statement and saw that it was charged right away. This is not good.
3.) I decided to call and check on the status of my order. They said it would ship soon and didn't give me a guarantee of anything. The CS person on the phone was nice and this is not her fault. I have no guarantee of anything. They said two of my three items would ship today and one of them was still on back order. How would I know this? I could have picked one up anywhere by now.
So please cheap droids take heed. Your company needs to shape up. Someone should really compensate my shipping and expedite all shipments to next day delivery.......
Good luck any people trying to order with CheapDroid. i hope they find the complaints when they Google "cheap droids"

With regards to my credit for my past order (which I was charged a bank charge) it appears now that I'm being told that paypal has them on a hold. they can not receive or send any money through paypal.

I would like everyone here to know in my case I'm not talking about much money at all here. However I do believe what is right, is right. While I take no joy in exposing this place as a fraud sometimes you have to make other folks aware.

Just thought of it, everyone who has been ripped off by em, should complain to whatever payment method they used, paypal tries to keep a good reputation, enough complaints should block em entirely, which may make people wonder why they don't accept, rather aren't accepted by paypal.

I live maybe 30 minutes away from this place. I'm really contemplating driving by this place tomorrow just to see it.
yes I totally agree with you I have already notified paypal and put in a claim.
Actually on my most recent order I don't even remember seeing a option for paypal and as I previously posted apparently paypal is not allowing any transfers to or from this merchant.
I would be interested to know what you see. perhaps a empty lot with a for sale sign on it? lol

I placed an order with these scammers, and have not received it yet. In place of the mount I ordered, a small envelope showed up today with 7 small packages of 'Fein Energy Crystals' from a company called Online Energy Inc. Included in the envelope was a note stating that this was my 7 day free trial which would automatically convert to a $9.99/month subscription for 30 packets unless I cancelled my 'membership'
Online Energy Inc. has the same Tampa address (5001 N. Coolidge Ave) as cheapdroids.
I have already put in a request at the BBB for a report to be created on them. I will file a complaint tomorrow if I can't get this resolved. I'll post back here with the outcome.
Save yourselves the trouble, and buy your stuff somewhere else.
