The battle of the assistants continues as we see Kia is on board. Kia will be utilizing Google's Assistant app to provide voice control in their vehicles.

You will soon be able to control your Kia vehicle with Google Assistant

I can see it now, mention or hear something on car talk about turn off the car while on the interstate and it shuts down because of an ai.

seriously, I wonder how integrated it will be.

For those of us without OEM Infotainment systems in our vehicles... Wireless Andriod Auto is coming. JVCKenwood is showing several models at CES and using a Pixel2 for the demo. There have been reports of problems between Pixel USB-C phones and Android Auto head-units mostly due to incompatible cables.
