I was at the verizon store yesterday and I saw a case for $20 but I was wondering if they are any better ones online that people would suggest. Thanks!dancedroid
I think it just boils down to what you want it for. I have a weekend case that provides a small amount of protection but fits easily in my pocket and doesn't snag when I go to pull it out. On the other hand, I'm in the army and spend lots of time in the field and around heavy machinery so I have an otter box for when I'm at work. It's bulky but provides loss of protection. Determine your needs and buy accordingly. I prefer going into the store bc I can actually get a feel for the case as opposed to buying online and hoping it works out.
I just picked up a seidio innocase surface. I was very impressed. Love the feel, not bulky, and offers good protection. They have an active version which covers the butons too.
I have 2 cases, an empire silicon case that I didn't like, it didn't feel protective enough and was pretty flimsy and came off a lot, and an otterbox commuter case, now that is about as sturdy and protective as you can get. It has a soft silicon inner layer and a hard outer layer and even has flaps to cover up the micro-usb connection and the 3.5mm headphone jack, it is a bit bulky though, but the protection more than makes up for it.
Id recommend no case personally. I always keep mine in a pocket when its not in use so doesn't really need any protection. Cases also tend to add to battery heat problems because it traps the heat in.
