There's no way the ref should have let Lessnar stay on the ground and get his head punched like that. I'm starting to wonder if UFC is the new WWE or something. Carwin was robbed.

At no point was Carwin landing really clean shots though. I was going for Carwin too but I thought the right decision was to let him go. Brock was blocking the whole time and even throwing Carwin off of him several times.

Might as well vent out since it was already spoiled. One of the best UFC events up until the second round of the main event. Carwin won that fight.

Co Main Event will have to be my fight of the night since main event did not end how I wanted it.

Yeah the preliminary fights were really good. Stephan Bonner is an absolute warrior. He puts on some of the most entertaining fights.

Brock was "smartly" defending, and he was still throwing some punches, and while he looked like he was potentially in trouble, he was perfectly coherent of the situation and not doing too bad. Carwin wasn't able to put him away like he did with others. If you're saying Carwin was robbed here, I sure hope you would agree that Brock was robbed in his first fight with Mir ;) ....either way, i think it was pretty poetic that Brock sub'd him - didn't knock him out, didn't make the ref stop the fight due to strikes...but freakin' sub'd him! :icon_eek: lol

*I think Carwin is an great human being, and an amazing fighter, and wasn't about to take sides in this fight (too much) - I like 'em both. But i'm glad that Brock won. I don't know how to explain it. It's just the storyline of it all really...lol...and he definitely does seem like a more humble version of himself - think about his fight with Herring, and his antics - while they were definitely warranted, they definitely weren't professional. Now, he's more chill, and definitely has more of a Coture feel to him :) ...wow, talk about a slightly off topic rant...my bad :p

i'm so bummed lesner won again. you could see it about to happen though, lesner was gassed. i still feel that c**k lesner should have his tattoo boxed out on t.v. as it appears to be hardcore pornography to me.

Bet Lesnar will try to submit him too!

*Shocked Face*
It'd be the smart thing to do ;) ... I'm honestly thinking that the only real test left for Brock would be Overeem. Not to take anything away from Cain, as i'm interested in seeing that one, but I think Brock can handle it fine. I'd like to see him and Overeem more than any other "Brock vs. [fighter]" match.

Lesnar VS Carwin 2 I am sure is already being talked about. Carwin was literally a clean shot or two away from making Lesnar look like a fool.

+1 Lesnar vs Overeem... he handled Rogers a lot better than Fedor did... I'm afraid Fedor might be pushing the end of his career and his management isn't going to get him in the fights I want to see.
