Carrier customization???

Is there any way to customize the carrier info from lets say "verizon wireless" to something else where ever its displayed on a stock rooted bionic?
only way i found it available was on a custom rom from th3ory

If I understand you correctly only way I have found is to be rooted, Deoxed (Deodexer for 5.9.902) and then install the Status Bar mod (Status Bar Mod).

I just did this myself last night and changed the Verizon Logo on the lockout screen and on the pulldown menu bar.
