Cardock.apk

i need the original .apk file for the cardock...i'm rooted and i deleted it...now i want to upgrade to froyo, and you CAN'T if you've deleted some of the bloatware...

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You will need to wipe your data/cache when you install a Froyo rom, from what I am assuming is Éclair, so your cardock.apk will be installed with your new rom's gapps (Google Apps).

did that...still not work. it keeps giving me the error about the cardock.apk

The best advise is to flash a sbf.

You can get lucky and have it work by pushing the .apk or you will just open a new error.

I wish I knew how to do that...I've been reading up, but no luck as of yet..I'm usually pretty good with this hacking stuff, I.e. I've jailbroken my ipod, hacked my bb...

I usually like to watch videos of this type of work, but haven't seen any on sbf...

Hmm after all the hubub about how rooting your phone isn't dangerous, this seems like a pretty good reason not too...

I love the fact that I'm rooted, it was my stupid mistake for deleting the bloatware and other apps without further investigation on regards to updating to froyo, which, btw is only available to ROOTED users at the moment!
