Can't sign in with Google account after factory reset

I just did a factory reset but now I can't sign in using my Google account. Every time it tells me "You don't have a network connection."

Did you re-activate your phone over the air, first? After you tapped the Android graphic, the phone should have dialed into Verizon and prompted you to press 1 for activation. It takes about a minute, then says you're good to go and hangs up. After that, you are prompted to sign into your Google Account.

I am well practiced at Factory Reset, since I just did it about 10 times looking for my GPS fail fix

I took out my battery and put it back in. That seemed to do the trick. Thanks!
