can't resync facebook contacts after accidentally removing them

Hello,
i just recently got my dx a couple of weeks ago. I was messing around with it yesterday and i deleted my facebook contacts but now i miss them (stupid i know). I've tried downloading the FB App and going to settings but when i do it doesnt have a sync option. I also tried removing my account and then re adding it but it wont sync that way either. Please help!

Have you tried removing your facebook account, powering the phone off, powering on, then adding the facebook account. This may work.

I had the same problem. Had to add it back under social networking. Never figured out how to do it just through the app.

Hello, I am a new member to the Droid fourms my name is Jay. I did a similar thing to what you had done with facebook contacts. I don't know how or if my new droid x syncs new facebook contacts to your phone automatically or not but I accidently had deleted my facebook contacts as well. To fix the problem is I went ahead delted Facebook mobile for Android and then re-installed the mobile app. This re-added my previous facebook contacts along with my recent friend adds and their phone numbers. I also had delted my facebook account on my phone. Go to Settings>Accounts>Facebook click on account at hit remove. Re add facebook account Then re install Facebook mobile for Android. This does work. It's a pain in to figure out but thats how I did it.
