Can't find flash

Hey Everyone,

I got the first Froyo release a couple weeks ago which of course didn't contain flash support. This morning I got my second Froyo update which was supposed to contain flash. I search the marketplace and I find the flash showcase and I also found the "SWF Player" but I haven't been able to find the "Flash Player 10.1".

Can someone please help me?

Thats weird because I just pulled Adobe Flash 10.1 from the Google Market and also added Showcase as well. Not sure what to tell you. My Droid is like yours not rooted and has the same build.

Ok, this is weird. I searched for "flash" "flash player" "flash player 10.1" "adobe" "adobe flash" and "adobe flash player" and nothing showed up.

However, I went to Apps > All Applications > Top Free Apps and it showed up as #1. Downloading it now.

Have Droid2/ stock Froyo and not in market anywhere? I accidently deleted 10.1 and cant get it back... tried master reset on bad advice and stil no-go

What version flash came with your Froyo or from the market? I have the 10.1.72.7 but found a flash 10.1.92.8 which is a later version but I cannot find where to install it or how to remove 10.1.7... Any help is appreciated.

you'd need to be rooted to uninstall and reinstall the new one. i believe. if you got the 1st version from the market then you should be able to uninstall it from market. just find it in your d/l list and uninstall. but i doubt you got the newer version from market? you'd need an apk installer of one brand or another.

yeah that was bad advice

ummm....try going to a site with flash and where the box would be click it and see if it prompts you to download flash and it should lead you to the market

Market only has Adobe Showcase but not Flash since it came with Froyo. I did down load flash 10.1.92.8 but is is in a apk format and cannot get it to install. I can give you the site for thflash 10.1.92.8 if you want it.

Got the apk installer and installed 10;1;9 version....appears I'm apps now....radio station still will not play ....garbled and slow...and now Hulu will not play from web site. Not sure wwhat is wrong.....if I do a factory reset will 2.2 reload or 2.1

should go back to 2.2 but i doubt it'll take you back to flash 10.1.72.7.
