I've had all the prior Nokia internet tablets, such as the N810. I want a next-gen device, but I want to use it as just a tablet, not a phone. With the N810, I would tether it via bluetooth dun to my blackberry, and get internet through the dataplan on my blackberry. Can you do this with the Droid and just bypass Verizon completely (at least for purposes of internet)?
Can get internet on the Droid from another phone?
