My father and I shared an iTunes account which allowed us to buy an app once for both of us.
Can I do this with android? If so, how?

Thanks in advance

FYI, this would be considered fraud and is not discussed at Droid Forums in any way...thanks for understanding

Fraud, really?
Well I guess android market isn't a family market.

ReyZero, most apps only cost a couple dollars and it's always best to support the devs so that android development can grow. And Tparker is right. Asking how to get paid apps for free in here (whether it's from your dad or your friend or a stranger) is not allowed. Have a great day! :D

I wasn't asking for free apps, just if I could share accounts like iTunes.
Not all apps are just a few bucks.
Example: My father and I work together and we bought DocsToGo and shared files together for work.
If I wanted to buy it again on android, it's $30 each.
If I filled all 5 phones, we're talking an extra $120.

Maybe I should spend some time with the developer kit

Sorry my friend...such is life. Perhaps you could personally ask the dev for a "family discount". Good Luck! :D

Syncing two phones under a single account is considered fraud?

Really? Interesting.

I wouldn't call it "fraud" per say...but rather robbing devs of their hard earned money. He didn't ask how to sync two phones to one account. He asked how to get paid apps from his father's phone to his phone. Regardless, discussions on how to "share" paid apps will not happen in this forum. I hope that clears up your confusion! :D

If anyone has any further questions on this matter please feel free to read this http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...-paid-apps-free-do-not-try-solicit-board.html
