Buy UK apps with US credit card?

Before I ask, I just wanna say that I DID take the time to search through the different forums, looking for an answer to this.

Anyway, I wanna buy Beautiful Widgets from the Android Market. However, I live in the US, and it seems that I cannot buy an app with a Euro price tag.

Any way I can buy this damn thing? lol

If you have your google checkout account setup shouldn't be an issue.
Although some banks block those cheap transactions to europe sometimes automatically.

Sorry if I'm coming off as an idiot. I know how it is to deal with somebody like me (I was a moderator on a modding website). But I'm on Google Checkout on my PC right now. What should I be looking for?

Some European sites are exclusive to specific cards. I am able to use only my Visa unless they take paypal.

At checkout, when I go to select the credit card, it says "Unable for this purchase"

I don't have a credit card so I pay in the marketplace with a reloadable visa and all transactions to europe fail. Kinda sucks, no beautiful widgets no vignette etc.

I thought once your account was setup it didn't ask for a card at checkout in the market. I may be wrong but its been a while since I bought an app.

Yep, Amex does not like the Euro symbol in front of the transaction...my Husband calls my amex card my magic wand.......at least he has never had to buy call faker to please me...And I pride mysrlf on that.....
