Broken home button but need to get into recovery on droid x....

Hey folks, the home button on my droid x has broken, and of course the phone had a rom on it. In order to take it back to verizon, I flashed the 2.3.340 sbf to the phone, but it is stuck in a boot loop. The recommended course of action is to boot into recovery and do a factory reset, but with the broken home button, I cannot get into recovery mode. So the question is, is there another way to boot into recovery? Or even just a way perform the factory reset? Thank you for any help!

Best option is to wipe data in settings menu BEFORE you sbf

Hmmm

yeah. good idea! Haven't had any problems since i tried that, I guess a ROM won't add anything to (data) until it boots up!
