Boot into Clockwork Recovery from power off state?

I want to know if there is a way to boot into clockwork recovery from a powered off state? This could be very useful if you are stuck in a bootloop and being able to do this will save tremendous time.

On mine every time I turn my phone off it reboots into clockwork I think there is a setting in bootstrapper.

Hold down the home button while you're powering up. Don't let go of the home button till you see the exclamation, then hit the search button once. You are in recovery.

You can power off the phone, unplug from charger, take out battery and put back in, then plug charger back in and reboot. Always works for me
