Beautiful Widgets

This is only when you tap on the weather icon itself to open up animations correct? It doesn't animated when not clicked upon right?

Also I just downloaded the update and it fixed my temperature problem, however now in the location box it says "Null, Pennsylvania" when Null is clearly not the name of my city... Any thoughts?

Correct about animations, touch the weather area and full animations with 3 day forcast pops up.

Now that it is fixed, put your zip code in the city area instead and select geosync. This should solve the "null" issue. Unless you are actually in Null and don't know it, or some "government survey" says you are :-)

If you are already using your zip, then try your city/state name instead and see what happens. Sometimes the weather servers will select the nearest town for weather if your exact town isn't supported.

Not sure what to do about it if none of this works, good luck.

Yea and if that doesn't work try powering your phone off and then on. After my update I did that and it fixed my time (which was not updating).

Thanks,

Wasn't in null before the update . . . and why do I even have to type in a city name if its syncing with my location?

Tried city name and still get "Null" hmm . . .

Just purchased. Adds a nice look to my home screen.
Not bad for $1.40

I assume that the location will change with any refreshes?

Looks nice enough but living in Los Angeles we don't really need it as we only get "weather" about 5 times a year, if we're lucky.

I hear ya about LA weather, but LA County is a BIG place. Lots of micro-climate areas. I wish the widget included wind forecast. Would save a few wasted days on the golf course.

I wish the widget included wind forecast.

ME TOO, for now I have to depend on Weather Channel app for High Wind or other Severe Weather warnings.

This is something that should be addressed in BW, severe weather warnings are important.

I have the Star Trek "Red Alert" mp3 as my Weather Channel Alert sound.. pretty cool.

I agree. I keep weatherbug on mine too for that and both work good. I disabled temp notification for weatherbug in notification bar but still get alerts.

Hello Developer,

I'd like to thank you for your promptness and your hard work in resolving the issue. I've tried ALL the other paid weather widgets out there, and you by far are the most proactive, most customer service oriented developer of the bunch. Keep up the great work.

p.s. Is it possible to add another source for weather, such as NOAA? Thanks for the app.

That's exactly what I did - weatherbug but turned off the temp in the notification bar (you dont need two).

In the update last night he was quite sure that there was no way to make the weather move without tapping the screen. His comment was "can't do it on Android"

He should look at Home ++'s animated widgets - it's more than possible to make the weather always move which would be SO cool.

And I agree - he should try to update the application so we don't need two or three weather applications at once. For example let me see more about a day by tapping on it. Let me see 7 days. Lets have severe weather alerts. How about making it vibrate every so often during a thunderstorm.

+1. Home++ developer has shown that animated widgets are possible. Tho they are in their infancy... and I haven't seen any other developers working on this.
