personally, if i were the designer i'd make the text look just like the font on the lockscreen, do a digital clock instead of a flip and work on some nice retro-looking weather images. the sun does look pretty sharp so far though!

They are applications that give you a different home screen than the default on on your Droid.

You can download the new version from the Market. Read the warning about appearance though.

For those that don't know how to force an update, go to Market, hit Menu key and Downloads.

I like the new look!! I might have to get that now

This creates a real dilemma. Love the old look but it'll eventually be left behind with new features and bug fixes in the new version.

I just got the new version, never had the old one. There isn't much to it but for $1.41 I guess I can't complain. I'm only using the home clock weather thing and the wifi toggle widget.

Small version will be available shortly... developer said Mon I believe? not sure on when but I know he responded to some e-mails requesting it.

The new look fits right in with the 'bare knuckled bucket of does'. It's not bad... I kinda like it. The weather graphics seem a lil sub-par now but I'm more than willing to give it time to see it develop.

Overall not bad... just needs to refinement

Thanks for the info Martin. Since I have the current version backed up, I may toss this on to get a better feel for what I really think of it.
